OVERVIEW

The camping safari is an affordable package that lets you explore Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. All accommodations, meals, and logistics are taken care of within the campsites.

Day 1: Arrival to Arusha

On the first day of your tour, you’ll be greeted at the airport by a friendly driver who will welcome you to Tanzania. You’ll then be taken to your hotel to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti NP

After breakfast, our guide for a safari briefing before driving to Tarangire National Park that will take 2 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of grassland plains, baobab trees, Maasai houses, and herded cattle. Within the park, you will be able to view ancient baobab trees, tree-climbing pythons, and large concentrations of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a delicious served picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive, then head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti NP

Have an early morning breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, allowing for views of the Ngorongoro Crater. The six-hour drive may vary due to game sightings on the southern plains. A stop at the Ndutu area is possible, time permitting. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the route and proceed with a game drive, arriving at your camp in the evening.

Day 4: Serengeti NP (Northern Serengeti)

Rise early for an early breakfast and depart your lodge for a full day of game viewing, following the Great Wildebeest Migration towards the Mara River. Witness hoofed mammals and their predators migrate in a clockwise circle annually. The Serengeti is ideal for spotting the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo. In the evening, return to your camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up for an early morning game drive with a packed lunch. Then, you will proceed for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive along the route. You will then arrive in early evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara NP

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater to view wildlife. Have lunch at the Our guide will spot a site at the base of crater for you to have lunch in the afternoon. Famously known by the 8th wonders of the world, the crater is a home base for various wildlife like buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, black rhinos, elephants, gazelles, hippos, serval cats, lions and variety of bird species (about 400 bird species). After game drive, you will then proceed to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay and dinner

Day 7: Lake Manyara NP to Arusha

After breakfast, depart with packed lunchbox to Lake Manyara NP for a day game drive. The Park is a photographer’s playground and offers some of the best game viewing in the world, including tree-climbing lions lounging in acacia trees. Bird-watchers will delight in the park’s diverse birdlife, with large flocks of flamingos, circling birds of prey, and the brightly colored lilac-breasted roller. Later on, after game drive, you will be transferred to Arusha town or directly to the airport.
