This 8-day safari showcases the best of East Africa, featuring close encounters with wildlife and stunning landscapes. Highlights include the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and scenery as well as the wildebeest migration, the Ngorongoro Crater being the largest intact volcanic caldera and Tarangire National Park, famous for its birdlife and elephants.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
After we pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel, you can opt for a brief tour of Arusha city to familiarize yourself with Tanzania. This introductory tour will help you prepare for your upcoming journey, and in the evening, you’ll receive a briefing on the rest of the tour activities. Get ready for your adventure the following day.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
At 8:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up from your hotel, introduce you to our guide, and drive you for two hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for its high elephant population and ancient baobab trees. During a game drive, you’ll witness interactions among elephant families and encounter various herbivores like zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes, while keeping an eye out for elusive predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After a riverside picnic lunch with scenic views and possible sightings of playful baboons and monkeys, we’ll proceed to Karatu for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti NP
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a six-hour drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, with a brief stop at the crater gate for views. We’ll reach Seronera, the Serengeti center, in the late afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch, and then set out for a game drive, continuing into the evening to experience the Serengeti sunset and observe wildlife, including potential predator hunts. Finally, we’ll head to our lodging for the night and dinner.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, we’ll embark on an early morning game drive heading northwest through the Serengeti, focusing on the wildebeest migration and exploring expansive areas. The highlight will be the Mara River, where you may witness migratory herds crossing. We’ll continue the game drive until evening before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can also spot wildlife around the camp.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti NP
After an early breakfast, we’ll set out on a game drive to observe the wildebeests gathering and preparing to cross the Mara River, hoping to see the migration in action. Following lunch, we’ll continue the game drive until dusk before returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After a leisurely breakfast and early lunch, we’ll head to Ngorongoro, traveling through the Serengeti with insights from our experienced driver about local wildlife and Tanzania’s scenic beauty. We’ll spend the night on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, with dinner and overnight accommodation at our lodging.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Early risers are rewarded with breathtaking sunrise views over the Ngorongoro Crater. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll descend into the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site formed from a volcanic explosion millions of years ago. With a depth of 610 meters and covering around 260 square kilometers, the crater, home to about 25,000 animals, offers exceptional game-viewing. You’ll encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species, with a chance to spot the endangered black rhino. After exploring the crater, you’ll return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Airport
On this final day of your tour, after breakfast, we will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, or you can choose to extend your trip with a beach holiday in Zanzibar. Alternatively, you may be dropped off at Arusha Airport.
