This is a luxury safari takes you on an extraordinary adventure through Tanzania’s most renowned wildlife destinations. You’ll explore the vast Serengeti, known for its abundant wildlife and the Great Migration, journey through Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant populations and scenic baobab trees, and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder rich with diverse species.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will clear immigration and collect your luggage before being greeted by your driver at arrivals. You’ll then drive to your accommodation in Arusha. After a day of travel, you can choose to rest or take advantage of optional city tours and experiences based on your interests.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire NP

Today you’ll be heading out to your first Tanzania national park, the beautiful Tarangire, often a favorite park among guides due to its size and remoteness, particularly in the southern section. The Park is known for a large number of elephants that congregate here. There are substantial populations of wildebeest, zebra, impala, giraffe, eland and buffalo as well, and even a few localized and unusual species including the gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The primary landscape is dry, open woodland scattered with hundreds of Africa’s prehistoric the baobab tree. You’ll explore the park in your private vehicle, stopping for a picnic lunch during your game drive. Eventually, you’ll head to your lodge overnight stay and dinner at Karatu.

Day 3: Serengeti NP

After breakfast, you will begin with a drive from Karatu to the Serengeti, you’ll traverse green hills and flat lowlands, passing small towns and Maasai huts. Upon entering the Serengeti, your game drive will lead you through the southern section, characterized by rolling grasslands and rock kopjes that attract big cats seeking vantage points. This area also hosts large herds of wildebeest during their birthing season before they migrate north. The Serengeti offers diverse landscapes, which will vary depending on your camp’s location within the park.

Day 4: Serengeti NP

Today, you’ll immerse yourself in the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its vast plains and rich wildlife. The Serengeti’s highlight is the wildebeest migration, where over a million wildebeest, along with zebras and gazelles, create a spectacular scene as they traverse the plains. Accompanied by your private guide, you’ll search for these herds and other wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. For a unique perspective, you might consider a balloon safari, which offers a breathtaking view of the wildlife from above, available at an extra cost.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Early in the morning, you’ll drive from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater, a unique collapsed volcano with a diverse ecosystem. Descend into the crater to witness its spectacular landscapes and high concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and rare black rhinos—ideal for spotting all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and Ngorongoro Crater is celebrated as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Day 6: Transfer from Karatu to Arusha

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your flight time, for your onward journey. This marks the end of your service.
