This 5-day safari offers an exhilarating journey through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, providing a high likelihood of spotting the Big Five and experiencing the breathtaking Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti plains.The Serengeti Great Migration is celebrated as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, showcasing stunning vistas filled with vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The rivers are teeming with Nile crocodiles, adding to the thrill of this remarkable ecosystem. This region boasts some of the world’s finest safari experiences, characterized by volcanic grasslands and expansive plains interspersed with rocky outcrops, rivers, and forests. Timing your visit to coincide with the migration season will reward you with extraordinary wildlife sightings.

Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast and drive to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch, exploring the park’s wide-open spaces and vibrant wildlife. Experience the essence of “Old Africa” with sightings of large lion prides, elephants feeding on acacia bark, and a variety of other wildlife including giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, and elands.

Day 2: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

Rise early at 6 AM and have your breakfast, ready for a morning game drive, where we will explore the central Serengeti and head north. As we journey northward, the landscape transforms into hills and rugged terrain, offering opportunities to spot zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, and more. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch along the way and, if time allows, spend some moments by the Mara River.

Day 3: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

Choose between a late breakfast followed by game drives starting at 9 AM, with lunch provided on the go, or opt for an early 6 AM game drive. After breakfast, you can relax a bit before we head back to the Central Serengeti. The journey will take approximately four hours, during which you’ll have opportunities for wildlife spotting along the way.As we return to Seronera, the landscape transitions back to expansive grasslands, so keep an eye out for lion prides. We’ll enjoy lunch during the drive. After a day filled with adventure, you can look forward to dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we will embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Following our adventure, we’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater is an impressive collapsed volcanic crater surrounded by extinct volcanoes, home to approximately 30,000 animals. After a day filled with exploration and wildlife encounters, you can look forward to a delicious dinner and a restful night.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

We begin our day early at 6:30 AM with a quick breakfast before descending into the crater floor for an exciting 5-hour game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is vast and teeming with diverse wildlife, so be sure to have your camera ready. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and more. After a delightful picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool, we’ll ascend from the crater and make our way back to Arusha, arriving around 6 PM. As we conclude this incredible journey, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories from your safari adventure.
